A Sword Master

Very long ago, in a far-far away country which was situated near the Blue Mountains lived a young man who wanted to become a sword master very much. According to the tradition of that places only that man who has an original Master’s sword. The young man wanted to become a Master too mush so he leaved his home and went to other towns and villages of that country which was situated near the Blue Mountains. He wanted to find one of the old Sword Masters and ask him: “Great Master, your feats have a good name through all our country. You joined the greatest battles, you always won and you earn fame and honor. And now you’re living on retire. You’ve everything. And now you don’t need your sword, the Master Sword. Sell it to me. Or give me the Sword as a present”. The young man hoped that an old Mater answer his request.

One day he came to a real Sword Master. Now he lived on retire. The young man told him: “Great Master, your feats have a good name through all our country. You joined the greatest battles, you always won and you earn fame and honor. And now you’re living on retire. You’ve everything. And now you don’t need your sword, the Master Sword. Sell it to me. Or give me the Sword as a present”. A Sword Master heard him out, smiled and answered: “I would be glad to give it to you. You know, I believe this Swore won’t fit you”.

The young man bowed to the old Master and made his way. Sooner he came to other town and found a house of another old Sword Master. He came in and said: “Great Master, your feats have a good name through all our country.

And the young man who wanted to become a Sword Master went farther. He found old Sword Masters and asked them: “Great Master, your feats have a good name through all our country. You joined the greatest battles, you always won and you earn fame and honor. And now you’re living on retire. You’ve everything. And now you don’t need your sword, the Master Sword. Sell it to me. Or give me the Sword as a present”. Bur all old Sword Masters heard him out, smiled and answered: “I would be glad to give it to you. You know, I believe this Swore won’t fit you”.

Thus, the young man decided to go to the mountains and find secret ferries. He went for a long time; he woke up early with the sunrise and fell asleep long after the sunset. And finally in high mountains he found secret ferries. He asked them to forge him a sword which would be similar to the real Sword. The ferries heard him out and told: “So, you want to become a master and you want to have a sword? We’ll forge it for you”. They forged him a sword, its steel sparkled, it cut through iron and a hair, and it was perfectly balanced and engraved as an original Master’s Sword. The young man was very happy, and he left for other places.

He joined many battles and won them. Fame about his heroic deeds spread widely. It went into raptures his friends and inspired respect into his enemies. He lived long rich and worthy life. Finally it was time to go on retire.

He lived quietly and happily for a long time. But sometimes when his guests sang the praises of him, a real Sword Master, he felt uncomfortable as he knew that his sword was not the original Sword of a Master.

One day a stranger came to his house. He bowed to the old Master and said: “Great Master, your feats have a good name through all our country. You joined the greatest battles, you always won and you earn fame and honor. You’re a real Master, everybody knows it. And now you’re living on retire. You’ve everything. And now you don’t need your sword, the Master Sword. Sell it to me. Or give me the Sword as a present”. The old Sword Masters heard him out, smiled strange and answered: “I would be glad to give it to you. You know, I believe this Swore won’t fit you”.

So, this is the story which happened very long ago, in a far-far away country which was situated near the Blue Mountains.
